This project explores a contemporary reinterpretation of 17th-century Golden Age portraiture, beginning with a hand-drawn digital sketch and evolving into a painterly final rendering. Inspired by classical composition, chiaroscuro, and ornamental detail, the work reimagines a modern fashion photograph—originally styled and art-directed by the artist—through a historical visual language. The transformation emphasizes authorship, atmosphere, and restraint, allowing traditional aesthetics to surface through contemporary execution.
